Last Monday night, just over a week ago, Lily woke up with the stomach virus. It carried over into Tuesday around lunch. Ever since, our house has been in a constant state of sick. It took Lily all day Wednesday and Thursday to recover from the stomach bug. Friday morning we were ready to send her to school and she woke up with a rash all over her body (which has never happened to any of our kids before). Friday after lunch, Austin began throwing up. Poor Austin continued this ALL NIGHT LONG. He really had a bad case of the virus. Also on Friday night, Peyton began to run a fever of 101. We watched him through the night, but by Saturday morning it was up to 102.6. So off to the doctor we went and he was sent for an RSV test, a flu test, and a chest x-ray. The RSV and flu were negative, and the radiologist didn't see anything on the x-ray. My doctor was a little concerned about one spot in his lungs, but we decided to watch him overnight and see if his fever went down on its own. Well, then his fever got up to 103. So she decided to call us in some antibiotics and treat him for pneumonia. Sunday, Daniel began to complain of his stomach hurting and showed other signs of the stomach virus...if you know what I mean..(I won't go into grave detail). So yesterday, everyone stayed home from school. Obviously we have been doing a whole lot of laying around and TV watching around here. Since they were on the mend (so I thought), they wanted to paint yesterday, and I let them...
They decided to write love notes to everyone in our family. Note to family members...they weren't done yet, so if you don't see your name....never fear...I'm pretty sure they ended up covering EVERYONE! :) As you can see, Daniel's were very efficient.....just like a man. Same color, same saying...just a different name on each one.
Lily on the other hand, took her time. And changed colors with each line (so she put it). And as you can also see, when she runs out of room...it's no problem. She just puts it anywhere else it'll fit. As long as all the letters make it on the page that's all that matters. She actually has gotten much better with this when she writes, but I guess when you paint there are different rules....I mean it is harder after all. :)
And I think Austin just put every color on his page and never dipped his brush in the water in between. And he just did one and then was done. I'm not sure who this masterpiece is supposed to go to...he named many different names while he was painting it. I guess we can cut it into multiple pieces and send it to each person? :)
And I just had to include this one. My Papaw passed away a year and a half ago. So Lily said she would take this one to heaven with her so she could give it to him. So sweet.
I was thinking we were on the mend yesterday...until Jason woke up this morning feeling sick, and Daniel threw up. Who knows why it seems that the virus has to wait 3 full days before it can implant into the next person in our family? I sure don't. But hopefully we can be in the clear soon! Hope you all have a wonderful, germ-free day! :)

Merry Christmas!
Yes...Christmas. We'll skip the whole routine where I say I'll keep up with the blog one of these days; and I'll just get right to the point. We had a very Merry Christmas! We decided randomly on the Sunday evening before Christmas that we'd just go ahead and open all our presents from each other on Christmas Eve morning. That way we could get an earlier start to Tennessee on Christmas morning. It also gave the kids a whole day to enjoy their toys they got here before we left. It was lots of fun!
I think they all approved of what they got! Especially Peyton...he looks pretty stoked about his presents! The big present was an Xbox 360 Kinnect for all of them. They each got their own game to go with it. That was fun and we spent the majority of the day playing that (and of course getting ready for a lot of car-riding). So...that was our Christmas (Eve) morning! :) I sure hope you enjoyed yours as well!

Our House
Well it looks like today is finally blog catch-up day. Its been a long time coming. Anyway...I wanted to share some pics of the church parsonage that we just moved into. I haven't gotten to pick out paint colors and such for a long time...really since Jason and I got married and we painted our first church parsonage over 8 years ago. So needless to say, I had a lot of fun picking out colors again; and I chose a couple of colors I have never done before and have been really pleased! So anyway, without further ado...here's our house!
The Kitchen...
The Dining Room (followed by the Living Room...and then the Downstairs Bath)....
(Sorry...some of the pics downloaded on here so close that I couldn't get any text between them).
The Playroom...
The Upstairs Bath...
Peyton's Room (and below...Lily's Room)...
The Boy's Room...
And Jason and I's Room....
And that's our house! I was going to put "little" house...but its really not little at all! We also have a full basement which is where we do the laundry and where we can store everything. I really like our house!

Life Lately...
Life since Peyton has been born has been wonderful! He is such a precious baby and I want to hold him all day long. I have no doubt he will be my most spoiled baby by far. :) We have had several people visit...Nana and Grandaddy (my parents); Aunt Kathleen (my sister); and Jordan, Ashlynn and Logan (Kathleen's 3 precious kiddos) came right when I had Peyton (they were actually in route while I was in labor). And Pappy (Jason's dad) came this past weekend. We are expecting a visit from Grandmaw (Jason's mom) very soon! Daniel, Lily and Austin (and Jason and I of course) have LOVED having everyone visit...and really don't understand why they can't just stay for 3-7 weeks or so. Who knows? :)
Above is a picture of my parents with all 7 of their grandchildren! That's right...7 children..6 and under! When my sister's youngest, Logan, turns 1 in a few more days their ages will be as follows...Daniel-6, Lily-5, Jordan-4, Austin-3, Ashlynn-2, Logan-1, and Peyton-newborn. Its super fun when we all get together (seriously...it really is...even though at times it does get a little teensy bit crazy). :)
Peyton does a lot of smiling in his sleep. We often wonder what in the world a newborn baby dreams about....but it is so incredibly cute!
Afternoons in our house look a lot like this...
It took Daniel a couple of days to get used to doing homework everyday after school, but he's getting used to it now. Quite frankly it's taken me a little bit to get used to 1st grade...this school thing is the real deal now!
And these two are the ones I spend most of my day with...
Daniel is such a good big brother...he always has been. :)
Lily loves to get a hold of my phone and take silly pictures of herself...
While Pappy was in he got the kids helping out with breakfast Sunday morning. They helped cook and clean...and I don't mean just dishes...they also swept and mopped my kitchen floor!
Pappy with 4 of his grandkids....
So, life moves pretty slowly for the Heath family right now...at least for Mommy, Austin, and Peyton. We are doing lots of eating, resting, snuggling, movie watching and napping. But we are enjoying our restful days at home...well I am....I'm sure Austin will be happy when we start doing a little more (although he hasn't seemed to get too terribly bored yet). Well, that's all for now! Hope you have a great rest of the week!

Can we say.....Been TOO long??
Well hello again people! Its been WAY too long since I've really posted on here...partly due to the absolute craziness that has been our life the last month and a half. We have painted an entire house, torn up carpet and re-finished floors (partly still working on that, but almost done), packed up everything we own, moved into a new house, traveled over 800 miles to Tennessee (and then 800 miles back), unpacked everything we own, re-covered chairs and re-finished a table, and had a major plumbing mal-function causing us to go without running water for 4 days (I mean nothing...no sinks, toilets, washing machine...nothing)....and all from my 34ish week of pregnancy onward. I am now officially 40 weeks pregnant as of yesterday...and still no baby. Although with everything that's gone on the last several weeks, I have actually been TOTALLY okay with that! And of course, I've been nesting like crazy...really ever since we began the moving process....I figured I needed the extra several weeks. :) So I figured to start off the blogging process again, I'd just throw a few recent pics in here...like the one above of Austin falling asleep in the car and us going into Walmart...and him staying asleep in the buggy. :) And here we have my big ole belly...I can't remember what exact week this was, but my guess would be 37ish...
One night we decided to get the kids all bathed and ready for bed and go out back and make a little campfire and relax out there for our "quiet time" that night....
These boys have been 2 peas in a pod lately....
And we've spent a LOT of time at this place the last few weeks...you can again see a bit of a belly pic in the background...I believe this was this past week's visit, which would have been 39 weeks.
Like I said...these boys...they've also been wrestling a lot lately. I don't know if there brother will be ready for all this action...
So just a few things to begin the catch up process! Things I would like to blog about soon would be: Lily's birthday party, our trip to Tennessee, being 40 weeks pregnant, our new house, and I'm sure some more things I'm forgetting about. In the meantime...I'll probably be having a baby in the next few days, so we'll see how quickly I jump on all that! Here's to a wonderful weekend..filled with getting the house perfect before I go into labor! :)
P.S. If I don't have him by Thursday...I will be induced..so we definitely will be having a baby sometime this week!
