Catch Up...Part 1

So, since we have finally gotten settled in and I am no longer in complete and utter overload with things to do....I have realized how many pictures I have on my camera that never got blogged about! Things like.....Lily's last week of Mother's Day Out...
It was Cowboy and Cowgirl day the day we brought in cookies for her little goodbye party...
She was quite the little host passing out all the cookies!
Then there was Daniel's last day of school. This was his sweet teacher from Dayton City School...
And all his friends hugging him goodbye......(I had a hard time choking down the tears during that part)...
And then there was Halloween.....Iron Man, Cinderella, and Captain America...
And THEN.....we got to see PAPPY!!! Pappy has been in Kuwait for 18 months!! And he got to come home for a visit right around the time we were moving, so we got to spend all day with him and Grandmaw before we went to visit my family and they flew out to Wyoming to see Jason's sister. Daniel was especially excited to see Pappy...
Silly boys....
So what better to do with Pappy than go to Chuckie Cheese (especially when all the other kids are in school so you basically have the whole place to yourselves)!!!
I got in the truck with Austin....he kept holding my leg to keep me from falling out...
Sweet girl....
So there are at least a few of the pictures I had every intention of blogging about but never had the time to until now! I still have more, but we'll save that for another day.
P.S. This is what my backyard looks like now.....

Mother's Day Out!

Well, the time has come. My little Lily girl is 4, and it's her year to start pre-school....well technically; Mother's Day Out. Our church has a MDO program on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They sing, learn Bible stories, do lots of activities, and learn lots of fine motor skills. It's been the perfect balance to me as far as...them learning what they need to learn before Kindergarten and me not having to send them away all day every day a year before I have too. :) Anyway...yesterday was Lily's first day; and let me say...she was THRILLED! She told me the night before that she was SOOO excited!
She loved the backpack we found for her. It has 5 princesses on it...and Rapunzel is one of them (as she says). And, for those of you out there that don't know, it's not easy to find things with Rapunzel and some of the other Disney princesses on it...you usually get one or the other. So this was a big find!
Here she is in her class. They played with playdough as all the kids were arriving.
Anyway....when we picked her up yesterday afternoon; she was not ready to leave. She can't wait til she goes back tomorrow! She's so cute!!! Well, today is Daniel's first whole day of school, so hopefully I can have some pictures of that up before too long!
